Hendy’s Performance Open day returns to Thruxton this year, promising high-octane motoring attractions and a dedicated kids’ zone.
On Sunday, 25th June, Thruxton Race Circuit will open its gates with all sorts of entertainment, including stunt driving by Paul Swift, live music, hundreds of performance cars on display and guest speakers on the main stage.
Entry is free, and the team behind the event have planned plenty of family-friendly entertainment and promises it will be bigger and better than ever.
In addition to fans’ own cars on display, there will be the latest performance models from a wide range of manufacturers in the Hendy Group Motor Show, including Maserati and Lotus, and special guests, including Aron Taylor-Smith, James Hedley and Tiff Needell.
The event will also see the return of stunt driver Paul Swift who will once again provide breathtaking live performances to entertain the crowds with his precision driving.
The kids’ zones will offer plenty to entertain children of all ages. The zone will feature an inflatable village, trampolines, bumper cars, and face painters.
During the day, Thruxton will operate its skid pan experience and junior driving sessions, which can be booked and paid for directly with the circuit.
“Thruxton is the perfect venue to showcase some amazing cars but also to provide some great entertainment for the family,” said Hendy Group chief executive Paul Hendy. “This year, we have introduced more family attractions to sit alongside the cars, on-track entertainment and special guests.”
Registration is now open for the free event at https://www.hpopenday.co.uk/ with the option of general parking for all the family at the circuit and for performance car drivers to book a space to display their car.
