Salisbury City Council’s season of activities begins this month (March 2022) with Car Boot Sundays and Salisbury Street Sellers making a return.

Car Boot Sundays will return every third Sunday of the month from Sunday 20th March until Sunday 23rd October giving residents the opportunity to sell pre-loved items in the centre of Salisbury.

The car boot is open to sellers from 7am and to buyers from 9am until 1pm.

Buyers will be able to enter for free to bag a bargain. It costs just £5 per car on the day for sellers and £10 for vans or cars with trailers.

There is no need to book; just turn up on the day to be allocated a spot on the Market Place. The Car Boot is on a paved surface in the centre of town, perfect for all weather conditions. This year, there will be food vendors providing warm food and drink to enjoy whilst shopping.

Car Boot Sundays will not be open in April due to Easter Sunday and will run on the fourth Sunday of October due to the Charter Fair.

Salisbury Street Seller markets will run every second Sunday of the month from Sunday 10th April until Sunday 9th October, 10am until 4pm.

Salisbury Market Place will be bustling with stalls showcasing a fantastic range of vintage, artisan, arts and crafts and other handmade products. From jewellery and art to jams and gifts, Salisbury Street Sellers will support local makers and provide a unique shopping experience.

With a different theme each month, including ‘Dog Fest’ and ‘Dinosaurs come to Salisbury’, there will also be live entertainment, children’s activities and food and drink vendors, all combining to make a vibrant market place.

Whether you are an established trader, have a small home business or a hobby making craft items, the market is a relaxed and cost-effective place to sell in the heart of Salisbury.

Salisbury City Council is particularly keen to encourage and support small enterprises and business start-ups so stall prices start from just £10.
