A feast for foodies at Beaulieu Festive Fayre

As the countdown to Christmas gets underway, food and drink producers from Hampshire and further afield are preparing a sumptuous array of tasty treats to tempt the tastebuds of visitors to the Beaulieu Festive Fayre from Friday, 9th – Sunday, 11th December.

For street food fans, there are delicious hot Greek souvlaki pittas, gyros and wraps, wood-fired pizza, Yorkshire pudding wraps, gourmet burgers and sausages, Scandinavian dishes, crepes and fresh coffee to enjoy.

Food and drink gifts are perfect for Christmas stockings and fresh produce to taste and buy, from meat, cheese, delicatessen products, health foods, sauces and spreads to cakes and pastries, sweets and biscuits, puddings and ice cream.

If Christmas tipples take your fancy, craft beers, spirits, and mulled wine are all on the menu, or why not join one of the Festive Fayre’s hands-on drinks workshops?

Whilst visiting the Beaulieu Festive Fayre, visitors can treat themselves to a sumptuous Afternoon Tea in the beautiful surroundings of the historic Beaulieu Abbey Domus, once the dormitory used by Cistercian monks (book in advance).

Highlights include live entertainment from West End singer Adam Christopher-Rhys, the Santa Babies Duo and local choirs, festive craft workshops, gift shopping with more than 70 stallholders, and Father Christmas, storytelling and face painting.

Festive Fayre tickets include full entry to all of Beaulieu’s attractions, including the fully decorated Palace House with its spectacular Christmas trees, the National Motor Museum, and Little Beaulieu, an exciting wooden adventure play area featuring secret passageways, a treetop boardwalk and zip wire.

Rachael Goldstraw, Head of Marketing & Business Development at Beaulieu Enterprises, said: “Food is such a wonderful part of Christmas, and the team here at Beaulieu are already looking forward to doing a little sampling at the Festive Fayre. From local producers on our doorstep to high quality food and drink businesses from across the UK and beyond, there’s going to be something delicious for everyone to enjoy.”
