Longleat’s Festival of Light returns

The UK’s original and best lantern festival is back, inviting visitors to enter the pages of the nation’s most treasured tales, reimagined as 1,500 stunning lanterns.

This year’s event is brimming with festive treats – from firm favourites like the incredible 20-metre Singing Christmas Tree show and beloved Santa Train, to a show-stopping fountain display on the lake.

This year’s Festival of Light will run from 11th November until 7th January.

Longleat House will be even more luminous, with a phenomenal light show bringing it to life.

Rediscover beloved stories that shaped our childhood as you journey through a myriad of fantasy worlds – from Narnia to Never-Never-Land.

And it’s not just pixie dust that makes this unique experience so magical. Amazing artistry goes into creating bespoke lanterns that tower over you at every turn, with some stretching to over 15 metres high.

Show-stopping scenes are taken from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S Lewis, Cinderella, Snow White, The Wizard of Oz, Winnie the Pooh and more.

These gems of storytelling have always sparkled, but Longleat is bringing the shine… Where else could you see some of the most-loved animal characters like Aslan, the rightful King of Narnia, at the same time spotting Jungle Kings in real life as you discover the Drive-Through Safari?

Make your Christmas shine this year. As well as innovative new light trails, you can enjoy access to all of Longleat’s popular animal and adventure attractions.
