Two people arrested following Salisbury drugs warrant

Two people were arrested and suspected class-A drugs were seized following a warrant in Salisbury.

The warrant was conducted on Thursday morning (14th September) in Shady Bower.

Multiple snap bags containing suspected class-A drugs and a large amount of cash were seized with the assistance of a police dog searching the premises.

A woman in her 20s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug.

Both remain in custody for further questioning.

A/Sgt Matthew Boon said: “It is really important that the community is aware that their continued efforts in reporting information in relation to suspected criminal activity in their area helps us carry out warrants like this, which on this occasion has led to the arrest of two individuals.

“We have also removed Class A drugs off the streets, which will have a positive knock on effect in deterring further criminal activity to make Salisbury a safer place.”

Police remind us that if you wish to report suspected drug activity in your area, please call 101 or visit their website.
