Top class line-up confirmed for free local business celebration

Seven expert business speakers have been lined up for local SMEs to enjoy when The Federation of Small Businesses stages a lively and varied ‘Bootcamp’ meeting in April.

The Army Aviation Centre in Stockbridge has been chosen to stage only the second ‘Bootcamp’ ever held in the South West by Britain’s biggest small business group – Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) – following a hugely successful first event in Exeter in March.

The ‘Bootcamp’ session will take place on Wednesday, April 24, with speakers including Emily and Alan Braithwaite, Nicky Rudd, Tom Vaughton, Jeremy Mason and Kelly and James West leading five short, sharp sessions on practical subjects designed to help SMEs with their marketing, SEO presence, video skills, social media and networking skills.

Getting down to business – the first regional FSB Bootcamp in Exeter in March hosted by FSB’s Ruth Lambert

It adds up to a package that FSB Development Manager for Wiltshire and Somerset, Ruth Lambert, feels will energise the FSB members and non-members alike, who are already signing up in good numbers for the much-anticipated event.

“We were thrilled with how our first Bootcamp in Exeter went, and we believe we now have everything in place to create another cracking meeting for local SME owners and sole traders in this area to enjoy,” she said.

“We have entitled this event ‘Make Your Business Fly’ and we really feel it will help people to do just that. The speakers are brilliant, the ever-supportive venue is truly amazing and we are confident people will go away from the day feeling inspired and excited as well as having made some great contacts,” she said.

Tickets for the Zoho UK-sponsored event are free and are available at https://www.fsb.org.uk/event-calendar/fsb-business-bootcamp-make-you-business-fly-24042024.html .

A limited number of exhibition stands are still available at the reduced rate of £100 – with a 25 per cent discount for FSB members.

Bookings can be made via the ticket link.
