Tools worth over £1,000 stolen from Salisbury flats

Officers are investigating a burglary at a block of flats owned by Salisbury City Almshouse and Welfare Charities which saw tools worth more than £1,000 stolen.

The incident happened at the property in King Street overnight between 5pm on the 25th January 25th and 8am on the 26th January.

The property is currently being renovated and is due to provide subsidised housing for elderly members of the local community.

During the burglary, six flats were broken into, with damage caused and tools and materials stolen.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Polie said, “We’d like to hear from anyone who has any information in relation to the incident, including anyone who was in the area overnight or may have dashcam or CCTV footage which could help our enquiries.
