Time to Shop the Rock as the long-awaited Rockbourne Fair returns

The annual boutique shopping experience, the Rockbourne Fair, returns to Salisbury Racecourse this October from Wednesday 13th until Friday 15th, raising vital funds for Salisbury District Hospital’s Stars Appeal.

Being mindful of social distancing, this year’s Fair has been revamped with a new layout, and over 90 boutique suppliers.

40% of the suppliers are new to the Fair, for an unrivalled, fresh boutique shopping experience for Salisbury and surrounding areas. Stalls will cover fashion, cosmetics and jewellery, to luxury homeware, gourmet food and toys – with products that can’t be found on the high street.

Bev Moulding, chair of the organising committee, said, “After what’s been a very difficult year for so many, we are thrilled to be hosting the Fair again. We have listened carefully to our stallholders and customers about their concerns and have worked hard, sourcing the very best stalls to create a unique shopping experience in the safest possible environment.

“The fair prides itself on the breadth of the offering, with something for all ages and for those with pocket money to spend through to those looking for that special gift. We look forward to raising some much-needed funds for Salisbury Hospital. Come with friends, enjoy lunch in the restaurant – and Shop the Rock!”

The Fair raises vital funds in support of the Stars Appeal, Salisbury District Hospital’s charity, and in 2019 managed to raise a fantastic £53,400. Work funded by the charity helps hundreds of patients at Salisbury District Hospital and supports the NHS staff who care for them. The Stars Appeal aims to raise over £1million each year to fund projects which offer direct, practical support to patients, their families and the Hospital’s staff.

Entry to the fair costs £5, and £3 after 6pm on Thursday.

Opening times: Wednesday 13th October 10am – 5.30pm, Thursday 14th October 10am – 8pm, Friday 15th October 10am – 3pm.
