Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was hit by a car in Amesbury while on her way to school.
The 14-year-old girl was involved in a collision with a black car on Holders Road on the 20th of January at around 8.20 am.
As a result of the collision, the girl fell to the ground. She sustained significant bruising to her hip and rib area which has worsened over the past few days.
The driver of the vehicle involved did not check on the girl’s welfare and did not stop or leave details.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said, “We would urgently like to speak to any pedestrians or drivers in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
