Salisbury’s Race For Men is back for the first time since 2019

After two years of uncertainty, it has been confirmed that Salisbury’s Race For Men will go ahead this year.

Returning for 2022, the charity event will feature a 3k, 10k, and half marathon route to take on, and for the first time ever, women will also be able to take part.

Now, the running event is welcoming people to sign up as it tries to reach its target of £50,000 which is all in aid of Salisbury District Hospital’s Stars Appeal Prostate Cancer fund, raising money to help those diagnosed with the disease.

Organiser Toby Giles, said, “My brother and I’s father was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

“His early diagnosis and amazing treatment helped to give him the all-clear, and it’s why it’s so important for us to raise awareness for others.

“Race For Men is not only about the money that goes to the hospital, it’s about keeping Prostate Cancer in the public eye so we can find a cure.”

If you would like to take part, find out how to sign up here.
