Salisbury Radio to bring back War of the Works

Salisbury Radio is pleased to announce that a popular radio quiz on a former local radio station will return in partnership with Guyatts of Salisbury.

War of the Works will return this month, with workplaces competing in the daily quiz to win Pizza for lunch on the Friday of that week.

The quiz returns at 10:30 every weekday with Ian Burrage, and the presenter is excited about its return, “I am delighted that we are bringing this back to local radio in Salisbury. It’s a fun thing to do mid-morning, and hopefully, we have lots of teams winning pizza on a Friday.”

Ian continued, “We made small changes to how the quiz works, with one team competing against our questions every week to win the pizzas. Any team scoring over 35 will get tasty pizza for their Friday lunch.”

The team will play for pizzas, kindly supplied by the local pizza restaurant Pizza Venti on Fisherton Street in Salisbury. Teams will be able to win two 12-inch, wood-fired pizzas made by Alex and his team at the restaurant.

The winners are in for a real treat; Pizza Venti is rated as Salisbury’s top restaurant on Trip Advisor, scoring 5 out of 5 from their reviews!

The best-scoring teams over the year will then be invited to play at a LIVE Champion of Champions event here in Salisbury to claim the title of War of the Works Champions.

“I know there was always a long line of workplaces ready to play the quiz before, so we are excited to open up the invitations for the new version. We’d advise businesses to get in fast if they want to come on air and play!”
