R L Baileys have been a large part of the local Salisbury community for many years and this month they are celebrating 40 years in business.

The Fisherton Street business sells ‘competitively priced’ domestic appliances from cookers and dishwashers to toasters and kettles.

Established in 1982 by Nigel and Robyn McNally, their business model has been built on a commitment to ‘solid business ethics and a passion for providing service excellence’ in everything they undertake.

Nigel says, “For Robyn and I, owning a business that has served our community for 40 years, has been a true privilege and a joy.

“Our whole team are passionate about what they do, and are committed to our value of providing service excellence in all we do.”

Baileys also service and repair both freestanding and built-in appliances and offer in-home repairs in a 15-mile radius of Salisbury.

In the business’ commitment to offering exceptional after sales and service support, they have a well-established Service Division that takes care of in-home Domestic Appliance Repairs as well as Plumbing Service and Repairs.

In the city, Baileys are also well-known for their fun window displays.

One of their most memorable in recent years was the Henry Hoover nativity scene which was nominated for the Experience Salisbury and Salisbury Journal’s Best Christmas Window Competition.
