Speaking to the event’s organiser, Thom Belk said: “Although it’s been a quick turnaround since the rescheduled 2020 awards, this year’s awards will take place at the usual time in the calendar.

“Since lockdown measures were lifted there have already been some really impressive performances by local bands and an array of fantastic local events so the categories should be hotly contested once again this year. We look forward to the musicians gathering again on the 27th”.

For the second year running, Salisbury Radio is the official media partner of the Music Awards.

Beth Doherty, Head of News and Content at Love Salisbury said, “We absolutely loved working with Thom and the Music Awards last year to to showcase local talent to our readers and listeners.

“We are just as excited this year to be a part of the awards and we can’t wait to see what this year’s musicians have to offer. Thom works so hard to create fantastic opportunities for local bands and we look forward to another year of great music and good times.”
