Shirley Snell’s florist in Salisbury has new owners as it’s handed on to the next generation.
The florist originally opened in Salisbury in 1969 by Mrs Shirley Snell before being handed on to Phil and Jil Jolliffe in 2006.
Jil had previously worked with Shirley before becoming the manager and, subsequentially buying the business with her husband, Phil.
Nick Pearce and partner Sam Coward have now taken over the business from Phil and Jil, making sure that it really is a family business, as Nick is Jil’s son.
Nick is the third generation of his family to work in floristry as his late grandfather Stan Abbott.
Nick and Sam both have many years of experience working in both customer service and retail will bring those skills to the business to continue to deliver the high standards of service, quality and affordability that Shirley Snells is known for.
The pair are looking forward to the future of the business and are holding an open day on Wednesday 1st March so customers both old and new can meet the team, take advantage of offers and have the chance to win a beautiful bouquet. Doors are open between 11 am and 6 pm on the day.
