Many happy returns for glazing firm

Goodie bags and cakes are being prepared for the first birthday of a local glazing firm.

Bluestone Windows at Solstice Park are celebrating their one year anniversary on Friday – but you get the presents.

The double glazing supply company are opening their doors to customers this Friday (2nd July 2021) and are preparing some on-site activities and a chance to meet their team (including Barry the Pipe Man – see below!).

Bluestone was developed during the pandemic and have experienced a great first year of trading from their state-of-the-art showroom on Sunrise Way.

Rachel Singleton told Love Salisbury, “We know the local area and local people like the back of our hand, and pride ourselves on providing a friendly, local service.

“We love supporting local people and proving jobs for local people is at the heart of what we do.”

The company supplies glazing products from windows and doors to guttering and soffits.

The company is family run and borne out of the success of Spire Glass, the installation company at Solar Way. Started by Debbie and Sam Lock, Bluestone Windows spotted a gap in the market to supply to the trade.

Rachel adds, “Debbie and Sam saw the gap and filled it. We were hoping to open in April last year, but getting supplies in a pandemic proved difficult, however we were excited to be open and trading by June.

“We’re looking forward to Salisbury Radio broadcasting live from our site on Friday and really looking forward to welcoming tradespeople on site so they can meet everyone on the team and grab a burger or a slice of cake.”

“We also have goodie bags available.”

Bluestone Windows is open for their birthday celebrations from 10am – 4pm on Friday 2nd July at 34 Sunrise Way at Solstice Park in Amesbury.
