Here’s the first look at Salisbury’s brand new Botanic Cocktail Bar

A brand new cocktail bar is opening on Milford Street, Salisbury, today (Friday 2nd September 2022). Love Salisbury has your first look.

After a quarter of a million-pound transformation of former venue The Vestry, Botanic is an up-market cocktail bar which will bring affordable cocktails, drinks deals and dancing to the city centre.

The space has been completely refurbished to create a venue that is an Instagrammer’s paradise. From foliage walls, neon signs, a pink blossom bar, a brand new dancefloor, a DJ booth, laser lights and a photo booth, Botanic Cocktail Bar is a vibrant and exciting addition to Salisbury’s nightlife.

On the menu, you’ll find 12 cocktails featuring everything from the classics to drinks with a modern twist. All the cocktails are freshly shaken and there’s a reasonable starting price of £7.50.

All night Thursday and between 7pm and 9pm on Friday and Saturday, guests can benefit from drinks deals including two cocktails for £12, bottles of beer for £3, spirit mixers for £3, bottles of wine for £12 and a bottle of prosecco for £18.

The bar also offers glamourous martini trees, filled with nine cocktails of either porn star martinis, cosmopolitans or espresso martinis, or three of each.

The venue was taken on by the same company that now owns The Chapel Nightclub, Epic Bars and Clubs. Epic is run by a group of friends who love to transform unique and ambitious spaces into exciting bars and clubs.

Speaking to Love Salisbury, Nick Martindale, Epic Bar’s PR Director said, “It’s an absolute pleasure to bring our Botanic Cocktail Bar brand to Salisbury. Here at Botanic, we make great cocktails that are made quickly and reasonably priced.

“As we open Botanic, we close The Chapel to begin stage two of our renovation. We will invest half a million into The Chapel and relaunch it as even more fantastic than it already has been for so many years.

“Over the few months, we have got under the skin of Salisbury and it is so important to us that we bring want Salisbury wants to see. We will also continue the incredible legacy created by Jonty and Amanda Newbery at The Chapel.”

Local Instagram blogger, Girl About Salisbury, who attended the opening night said, “It’s so wonderful to see Salisbury’s nightlife continue to grow with more venues opening up. This is what Salisbury needs, especially if it’s going to keep hold of its young people.

“The transformation is incredible, they’ve really levelled it up. It’s now a beautiful bar that will definitely be a regular destination on nights out.”

Entry to Botanic Cocktail Bar is free and the venue will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm till late.

Botanic Cocktail bar is also available for private hire from Sunday-Wednesdays for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. The cost to hire the venue is free, with just a minimum spend at the bar.
