The countdown to Endorse It Endorset officially gets underway on Friday at Brown Street venue in Salisbury.

The alternative festival takes place July 20-22, and both bands performing on the night, Guns of Naverone and Meat Sweats, will be playing on the festival lineup.

The festival returned to the festival calendar last year after a decade hiatus. Based now at Cerne Abbas Brewery, moving on from its previous Sixpenny Handley home.

Guns of Navarone top the Brown Street bill after a storming set at Salisbury Arts Centre in February, headlining Salisbury Live’s ‘Beggars Bash.’

Legendary ska and punk acts The Beat and Peter and The Test Tube Babies top the bill at July’s Endorse It Endorset. Dub Pistols, Prince Fatty are some of the other big name draws, along with local favourites Pyeshoppe, Pronghorn, and a hundred other acts.

Grant Sharkey, performing on the Friday spoke of the festival’s unique identity.
