Countryfile is bringing a festive festival to Wiltshire this Christmas

BBC Countryfile is bringing its first-ever Christmas celebration to a park in Wiltshire this festive season.

The event will take up residency across five acres of Charlton Park Estate from the 10th-12th December. Visitors can look forward to presenter-led stage shows, TV chefs and local food heroes creating seasonal favourites, Christmas crafting and baking workshops, winter woodland walks, live bands, street food, carol singing and shopping from over 200 retailers.

Countryfile presenters will be present across the weekend hosting various stage talks and activities at the BBC Countryfile at Christmas Stage.

Visitors can also use the opportunity to pick their own locally grown Charlton Park Christmas tree in the Great Christmas Tree Sale.

Food lovers can enjoy The Christmas Kitchen, hosted by the legendary Brian Turner and featuring some of the nation’s favourite chefs.

Outdoor lovers can also join The Woodland Trust on a series of expert-guided walks around Charlton Park’s arboretum, where they can learn about the various flora and fauna, as well as how to tend their own gardens over the winter months.

For children, there will be festive workshops including making your own reindeer from hazel sticks.

At the Carol-Oke stage, a host of local choirs and Countryfile presenters will be performing all of the festive favourites to sing along to.

An array of street food and mulled wine will also be available at The Park Food Market & Wine Bar.

Tickets for BBC Countryfile Christmas in the Park begin at £29.50 for adults and £15 for children aged 5-16 and can be purchased here.
