Christmas on the Square build is underway

Christmas Begins in Salisbury this week, with Christmas on the Square opening on Friday (17th November).

It all kicks off with Christmas Begins in the Market Place; music headliners are Box Party with Disco Dion also playing some tunes.

There will be food vendors, free face painting, street performances, the opening of Christmas on the Square and more under the city’s twinkling Christmas lights.

Christmas Begins starts at 1 pm with entertainment from 4 pm until 8 pm.

The build of Frost Bar is well underway in a slightly different position than usual, running down the side of the Guildhall Square next to Queen Street.

Christmas on the Square offers visitors a beautiful, festive, decorated area with a destination bar, food vendors and festive activities.

Christmas on the Square is open from 17 November until 31 December.

The iconic FROST bar will be back with its cosy fire pits alongside Charter 1227’s tasty Bratwurst stand, the Gourmet Cheese Company with their cheesy delights and a range of treats for those with a sweet tooth.

Brand new for 2023, there will be festive outdoor entertainment every Monday to Wednesday from 20 November until 20 December! Bring your family and friends and enjoy comedy nights, silent discos, story times and more!

Entertainment will include comedy from Andrew White and Friends, Disco Dion, Silent Discos, music from acts like Tom Clements, Charlie Greenwood and Eve N Song and Story Time sessions.
