A new home for Salisbury Radio

Salisbury’s local radio station has a new home in the heart of the city.

Occupying two pods in ‘The Salisbury Office’ at 3 Endless Street, the station will have a studio for live broadcast, and a ‘news hub’ for the production of local news and content.

It was the impact of working from home on people’s mental health that inspired Philip Connolly and Marcus Reynolds to create The Salisbury Office – an independent and flexible workspace that people can hire by the day, week or month.

Previously a William Hill Bookmakers, Philip and Marcus have refurbished the ground floor space to create stylish, bright and functional pods equipped with office essentials.

David Harber, Managing Director of Salisbury Radio said: “Salisbury Radio is the new local radio station for the city and it is essential that our people, studios and offices are based in Salisbury and accessible by the public.

“Phillip and Marcus have been such a delight to work with and get this arrangement in place. We’re really pleased to be working together as we are both new businesses. Not only so we can support each other, but also help other start-ups grow in this amazingly sexy new office environment.

“As well as microphones and aerials we are now negotiating whether we are allowed to install a cat flap, so we can have a radio station cat.”

“We are delighted to welcome Salisbury Radio as a permanent fixture in The Salisbury Office. It’s fantastic to have a young dynamic team of people whose passion for Salisbury, the local community, and business is unrivalled and whose enthusiasm for the future of Salisbury matches our own,” commented Philip.
