Witness appeal after racially aggravated assault in Salisbury

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a racially aggravated assault in Salisbury.

At approximately 12.20am on Saturday 25th September, a woman in her 40s was assaulted outside Chick-O-Land by another woman.

She sustained an injury to her knee and during the assault, she was racially assaulted.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said, "We believe we have identified the woman responsible, and enquiries are currently ongoing.

"We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, including a man who intervened to help the woman during the assault.

"If this was you, or you know who it was, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220100886. Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
