Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a crow was shot with a catapult in Norfolk Road, Salisbury.
In a short statement, officers said, "The bird was fatally injured on June 23 between 1pm and 3.20pm.
"Two boys were seen in the area that we would like to speak to.
"One was wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and black trainers, the other was wearing a black t-shirt, grey shorts and white trainers. Both had light coloured hair.
