Wiltshire Police appeal for help on wildlife offences

Wiltshire Police are asking for our help in identifying the people in videos circulating on social media.

The videos appear to show offences taking place and they are investigating.

Police released a statement, asking for help from the public:

"We are appealing for information in relation to suspected wildlife offences.

"Investigators would like to hear from anyone able to identify those in a video, obtained by Wiltshire Police yesterday (09/02), which appears to show offences taking place at an unknown location.

"The below images, taken from the footage, show those we would like to identify."

Chief inspector James Brain said: “We take any allegations of wildlife offences extremely seriously, and we would urge anyone with information that could identify those in this video to contact ourselves or Crimestoppers at the earliest opportunity.

“We take a robust approach to wildlife crime and are actively investigating the circumstances depicted in this footage.”

Anyone with information which could help Wiltshire Police identify those in the footage is asked to contact them on 101, quoting log 5423001429. Alternatively, you can share information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
