Lovell Homes is sponsoring Tidworth’s Armed Forces Day event £1,500 for the second year in a row.
Armed Forces Day is on Saturday, 24th June, and the Tidworth event will take place at Tidworth Park from 1 pm to 10 pm.
A variety of performances and stalls will be held for attendees to enjoy throughout the day, such as The Dusk Hounds, Off The Cuff and Deploy Deejays, along with Non-Stop Kids Entertainment providing children’s entertainment from start to finish.
The £1,500 donation from Lovell Homes will go towards the main stage at the event.
At the event, Lovell will be giving children and their parents the opportunity to learn about different types of herbs and how to care for them by creating their own potted plants.
The participants will be provided with plant pots, compost and an assortment of decorative stickers to plant their herbs with to foster a sense of creativity and connection with nature.
Tracy Jones at Tidworth Armed Forces Day said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Lovell for their continued sponsorship of the Tidworth Armed Forces Day event. This year, their generous donation has funded the stage and PA system, helping us to put on an event.”
Suzie Hewitt, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “We are thrilled to sponsor this year’s Tidworth Armed Forces Day event. At Lovell, celebrating Armed Forces Day is very important to us, as at Drummond Park the Veteran Build Experience scheme, run in partnership with Stonewater and Alabaré, is providing veterans with work, mentoring and the opportunity to secure a new affordable home, which they have helped to build.
“We are committed to supporting local veterans across Wiltshire wherever we can, and hope that they, and other attendees, have a wonderful time at this event.”
Drummond Park is being delivered by Lovell in partnership with Homes England, and will consist of 412 homes on the former Defence Medical Equipment Depot. Drummond Park will feature a collection of 309 two, three and four-bedroom open market Lovell homes, as well as 103 affordable homes – 40 per cent shared ownership and 60 per cent affordable rent – for leading housing provider Stonewater.
This year, Lovell Homes achieved Gold for customer service with In-house Research, meaning an impressive 91 per cent of customers in the South Wales and West would recommend Lovell to family and friends.
