Salisbury's historic 14th-century Poultry Cross was damaged during a police pursuit and road traffic collision on Saturday 21st May, leaving residents questioning who will be responsible for the monument's repair.
The monument was damaged when a man driving an Audi A3 through the city failed to stop for police officers. Following a short pursuit, the vehicle collided with The Poultry Cross on Butcher Row causing damage to both the building and vehicle.
