There are fun activities for all the family happening this Easter in Salisbury.
The school Easter break will take place from Monday 11th to Friday 22nd of April but some of the Easter festivities have already begun.
Families can enjoy a whole host of trails, hunts and activities. Here is what's on in Salisbury this Easter.
Easter Adventure Quest at Stonehenge and Old Sarum
Location: Stonehenge
Near Amesbury, SP4 7DE.
Stonehenge is playing host to all kinds of Easter fun, from egg hunts to egg rolling, to egg and spoon races!
Adventurers can take on the quest anytime between 9.30am-5pm, with the last day being Sunday 24th April, with chocolate treats and certificates on offer.
Tickets for the quest cost £1.50 in addition to regular admission prices.

The deserted settlement, Old Sarum will also be welcoming eager adventurers. The English Heritage site will be open 10am-5pm, finishing on Sunday 24th April.

Easter Bunny and the Lost Toys Trail at Wilton House
Location: Wilton House
Wilton, Salisbury, SP2 0BJ.
Children’s hospice Julia’s house will be hosting a weeklong Easter Egg trail at Wilton House.
The trail will be open 11am-4pm from the 11th to 18th of April.
At £3 per child, children can help the Easter Bunny by solving clues and challenges to find his lost toy friends. Upon completion, super sleuths can collect an Easter chocolate treat as well as an ‘egg-tra’ special prize for those who can spot a golden egg.
All proceeds will go to the local hospice charity, helping to support seriously ill children and their families across Wiltshire and Dorset.

Easter Holiday Eggcitement at Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm

“Spring it on at Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm Park”.
Cholderton Farm is opening its Vineyard for the first time this Easter.
The new Bluestone vineyards will be welcoming VIP visitor, the Easter Bunny, every weekend throughout the holidays (Saturday 9th to Sunday 25th). Kids can enjoy an Easter egg hunt- with a chocolate treat- and a chance to get a photo with the Easter bunny himself.
Meanwhile, grown-ups can sample some English Sparkling Wine and learn more about the vineyards after a self-guided tour- featuring views of the wonderful Wiltshire countryside.
The animals, play areas, farm shop, restaurant & café will also be open to visitors throughout the Easter break.

Easter Craft Fair
Location: Clearway Craft Unit

The Clearway crafting community will be running children’s craft activities 11am-3pm for in an outdoor craft fair on Saturday 16th April.
Then on Sunday, the festivities continue with an Easter egg hunt and Easter-themed crafts.
The weekend forms part of the Craft unit’s ‘crafty camping weekend’ from Friday 15th to Monday 18th of April, costing £10 a night.
The café will be open every day 10am-4pm in addition to a BBQ every evening of the camping weekend.

Easter Half-term Toy Swap

Bring all your unwanted toys to Quench Café on Wednesday 20th April (10am-1pm) and go home with new ones. Kids will be able to take away a maximum of 5 toys each at this free event hosted by Quench Salisbury and Share Salisbury

Larkhill Cinema Screenings
Location: Larkhill Garrison Community Centre

The Army Welfare Service (AWS) Community Support will be screening two popular Disney films at the Larkhill Garrison Community Centre on Wednesday 20th April.
Both films will be free to watch. New Pixar film, Turning Red (2022), will be shown at 10.30am whilst Disney’s (2019) live action remake of Aladdin will be screened at 2pm. Both films require parent guidance (PG) and tickets must be shown on entry.
