Taste Salisbury returns for 10 days of foodie fun this Friday (26th August 2022) to celebrate the array of local food and drink venues, producers and sellers in the city.
Salisbury BID, Salisbury City Council and Experience Salisbury are working in partnership to produce the city-wide fiesta, dishing out exciting events, exclusive offers and special menus planned for the duration of the festival.
Here's what's on.Sample beautifully bakes cakes at Dinghams
Inside this third-generation female family-run cookware shop you'll find a café serving up brunch, lunch and afternoon tea.
Throughout the Taste Salisbury festival, you can sample cakes from the Dinghams café.
The independent cookware shop will also be offering random acts of kindness, such as free coffee and 10% off food and drink in the café (not including alcohol).
Spend £20 or over and receive a free Dinghams tea towel designed by Becca Hardingham. Spend £50 or over and receive a free Dinghams apron designed by Becca Hardingham.
It's Pimms O'Clock at Salisbury Museum
For Taste Salisbury, enjoy the great taste of summer in a garden with arguably one of the best views in Salisbury.
Salisbury Museum will be serving up freshly made jugs or glasses of Pimms and Lemonade for visitors to enjoy while they watch the world go by.
Available 26th August to 4th September 10:00 to 15:00.
Savour Salisbury on a plate at The Rifleman's Table
Celebrate and sample local cheese and charcuterie at The Rifleman's Table in Salisbury's stunning Cathedral Close.
Cheese and charcuterie boards will be available for the whole of Taste Salisbury with a late opening on Friday/Saturday. They will be served alongside wine from local vineyards and locally brewed ales.

Get on down at the Craft Bar Indie Disco
Get on down to The Salisbury Arms Craft Bar on Friday 26th August for a night of indie bangers, disco lights, and discounted drinks.
The event kicks off at 6pm until close.
Food meets fine art at Gallery 21
To mark Taste Salisbury Gallery 21 will be pairing food with fine art as guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz and a selection of tapas while they take in the beautiful artwork on display in the gallery.
Fizz will be available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm every weekend throughout the event. Mention the code 'Food 22' to receive 10% off every purchase on 27th August 2022.
Get your hands on some exclusive bakes at Reeve the Baker
During the Taste Salisbury celebrations, pop on into Reeve the Baker where the team will be highlighting their best artisan products each day with tasters.
A spot of lunch at Muse Hairdressing
Muse Hairdressing has teamed up with two other Winchester Street independents to offer a special lunch promotion during Taste Salisbury.
From 26th to 28th August, Artisan Wine & Spirit Co will be taking over their drinks menu, offering a Strawberry Daiquiri and the hairdressing teams' favourite Mascato.
From 30th August to 4th September enjoy a spot of lunch from The Dusty Apron Bakery who will be offering their menu alongside all hair appointments.
A taste of fine dining at Allium
Salisbury's fine dining restaurant on the Market Place will be dishing up a delicious tasting menu for the duration of the festival.
Try tuna carpaccio, mango and chilli paired with a Bluestone Classic Cuvee or sample some Pork Belly, White beans, chorizo, candied lime and spinach alongside a glass of Curioso Tempranillo from Spain, plus so much more.
The special menu will run Tuesday to Saturday Lunch: 12:00 – 2:30pm and in the evening from 6pm. The last sitting begins 9pm. The tasting menu is £65pp and the wine flight is £35pp.

Introducing the Taste Salisbury Bottomless Brunch with a Live DJ at The Bridge Tap.
On Saturday 27th August The Bridge Tap will celebrate the Bank Holiday and Taste Salisbury 2022 with all-you-can-drink cocktails, prosecco and beer.
Dig into a selection of burgers, breakfast and brunch dishes and get on down to the live DJ.
Soak up the sun at the Bishops Mill Garden Session
Sit in the garden of the Bishops Mill on Saturday 27th August and enjoy DJ Sam EB on the decks as you soak up the sunshine with a cold beverage.
Free entry. Music from 3pm until 10pm.
Music and cider 2-dayer at The George and Dragon
The George and Dragon will be hosting a two-day cider and music festival as part of Taste Salisbury celebrations and it's set to be their biggest garden party of the year.
There will be a wide range of flavoured ciders to try alongside two jam-packed days of music.
On Saturday, local bands and musicians will take to the garden stage from around 4pm - perfectly paired with a BBQ.
As per tradition at the George and Dragon, Sundays are for Open Mic night. The Taste Salisbury Open Mic night will be held in the beer garden from 6pm. A few favourites are confirmed to perform and any local musicians who want to come down on the night are welcome.
To top off the weekend, The Deloreons will be headlining on Sunday night to finish off the weekend in style. (Under 18's allowed in until 9pm.)
Get an appetite for Africa in Salisbury
New Tadi Market is Bringing Africa to Salisbury with taster days as part of Taste Salisbury.
From Saturday 27th August and Saturday 3rd September, pop into the shop to taste different African recipes (food such as jollof rice, and waakye will be on display).
There will also be 15% all fresh meat products from Monday 29th August to Friday 2nd September.
Bubbles and bakes with Artisan Wine & Spirit Co. and Pie & Piper
Love fizz and love cake? Welcome to Fizz Pop, the event where guests will make their own bouquet of "pop" while drinking and learning about fizz.
Sarah from Pie & Piper will provide everything you need to create your own bouquet of 6 pops of different flavours and she'll demonstrate different styles and techniques before allowing you to get creative and make your own.
These cake pops will be paired with a selection of different sparkling wines to enjoy. Tickets are £28 and are available on our website or in Artisan Wine and Spirit Co.'s shop.

Head on down to Brown Street for a night of poets, pizza, comics, cocktails and more Thursday 1st September 2022.
Poets, singers and comics will take to the stage to read their own, brand new material whilst audiences tuck into pizza from Nico Pizzas.
Celebrate the grand opening of The Boathouse
The Boathouse on Mill Stream Approach, Salisbury will be celebrating on the 1st and 2nd of September as they open for the first time under new ownership.
They will be serving a limited menu at the bar and restaurant for the opening nights and on the 3rd and 4th of September, there will be the new full menu and live music.
To celebrate Taste Salisbury, there will be a 10% discount available from 1st September until close 4th September 2022.
Rums and Drums with Artisan Wine & Spirit Co.
The Artisan Wine & Spirit Co. will be turning Guildhall Square in Salisbury into our very own little slice of the Caribbean.
The brilliant and hilarious Paul McFadyen, one of the world's top rum experts, will take guests through four Plantation Rums, each of which will be individually matched with a firepit-cooked and Caribbean-inspired dish, all very theatrically put together by Roam Catering.
Once you've learnt all there is to know about rum, the bar will open and a full steel drum band will perform.
The ticket price (£49) includes four rums, for plates, endless entertainment from Paul then bar, dancing and steel band until 10.30pm.
Fancy dress is not compulsory but wholeheartedly encouraged. Tickets are available on the Artisan Wine & Spirit Co. website or in the shop on Winchester Street.
Celebrate the end of summer at The Craft Bar Beach Party
Summer isn't over yet as on Saturday 3rd September The Craft Bar are having a Beach Party!
Expect deals on summer cocktails, shots, plus some tropical burger specials. A DJ will be playing beach party anthems from 8pm and guests can get special deals on shots if they wear a Hawaiian Shirt! Aloha!
Discover local at the Fish Row Food Festival
As part of Taste Salisbury, Reeve the Baker, Pritchett's Butcher, Premier Fish and Maul's Wine & Cheese Bar are coming together for Fish Row Food Festival!
From 10am to 4pm on 3rd September, the local independent businesses will have stalls to browse, samples, delicious artisan products and special promotions.
Sip oysters and fizz outside Premier Fish fishmongers who will be offering a trio of freshly shucked oysters and a glass of fizz in collaboration with Mauls Wine and Cheese Bar for the mere price of £10.
To round off the Fish Row Food Festival, Maul’s Wine and Cheese Bar presents their End of the Summer Road Flamenco Fiesta with the famous Lourdes Fernandez and her show Raices.
Join Andy Maul and the team for Spanish food, drink and dance as they celebrate all things food, drink and summer.
Tickets for the End of the Summer Road Flamenco Fiesta event are £40 – which includes a welcome drink on arrival of either Sangria or Cava and a set Spanish-themed Slate – with further reduced wine to buy on the night.
There are two booking slots 5:00pm until 6:45pm or 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
