Here at Salisbury Radio we are so looking forward to being part of this event taking place at the Army flying museum in Middle Wallop on Saturday 3rd July. Pop along to our gazebo during this event to meet the lovely Craig Hicks, David Harber and the rest of the events team. We will be broadcasting live throughout the day.
This a fundraising family event featuring a vintage aircraft fly in, a classic car show display, a supercars enclosure , a display of static classic motorcycles plus stalls, food, beer and entertainment.
This Army Flying Museum fundraiser will showcase some of the finest classic aircraft and vehicles in the UK and is guaranteed to be a Fun Family Day out.
They will be hosting 40 CLASSIC AIRCRAFT and 300 SUPER and CLASSIC CARS and MOTORCYCLES on the Army Air Corps airfield. Other attractions include a Kid’s Zone, a Military Area, a Corporate Village, Live Music, a Beer Tent, a Wine Bar, a Pimm’s Corner and a Food Court. They are looking forward to welcoming, amongst others, Hampshire Fare Roadshow and Hop Back Brewery.
Come along and see one of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s Hurricanes performing a flypast.
Day tickets to this event are now sold out but they do have late passes available for access to the site from 1630.
Late Passes are just £5 and allow access to the event from 4.30pm onwards. Come along as the day winds down to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a cool drink whilst watching some of the aircraft fly out and at 6.30pm the hot air balloons take to the skies in a spectacular finale! Last orders at the bar are at 7pm and the event closes at 7.30pm. (Please note the balloon ascent will be weather dependant.)
