Video: Large crowds gather to remember in Salisbury

A large number of people filled the space around the War Memorial in Salisbury's Guildhall Square today to mark Remembrance Sunday.

The ceremony was led by The Rector of St Thomas's Church, The Rev'd Canon Kelvin Inglis, with an address from Salisbury's Mayor, Cllr Tom Corbin.

The two minutes silence was immaculately observed by all before the hymn 'O God, Our Help in Ages Past' was sung, and wreaths were laid by members of the Royal British Legion, the Armed Forces and Community Representatives.

Following the National Anthem and a blessing, those on parade marched from Guildhall Square through the city to warm applause from the large gathering.
