Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses or information following the theft of tools from a van which was parked in Jubilee Terrace in South Newton.
In a statement, police said, "The theft took place overnight from Sunday 24th to Monday 25th March.
"It is thought that offenders used cutting equipment to make a hole in the side of the van before removing items valued at about £1,500.
