Salisbury travel to newly crowned league champions Chesham United as their hunt for the playoffs continues.
Chesham were crowned champions of the Southern League Premier South last weekend when they won 4-1 away against Harrow Borough.
The runaway league leaders are 17 points clear at the top of the table after a dominant second half of the season. They have only lost once in their last ten games, and that was against Salisbury.
Salisbury is the only team to have beaten Chesham in 2024 so far, with a 3-1 win at the Ray Mac. They haven't lost at home since September, when they narrowly lost to Winchester City. This is their only loss at home this season.
Salisbury, on the other hand, have had a mixed spell recently, winning four of their last ten, drawing four and losing two after looking to be in the title race right up until Christmas.
Last time out, Salisbury saw off the league's form side, Basingstoke, in a tough battle at the Ray Mac on bank holiday Monday. The Whites currently sit third in the table, level on points with Gosport Borough, who have a better goal difference in second.
They have AFC Totton breathing down their neck as the playoffs race enters the season's final few weeks.
Mathematically, any team from eighth-placed Walton & Hersham up to Gosport Borough in second can make the playoffs.
Chesham are expecting a large crowd on Saturday as they celebrate their league title and promotion to the National League South, and travelling Whites fans are encouraged to book a ticket online in advance - https://cheshamunitedfc.ktckts.com/event/csu2324h21/salisbury-league
