Wiltshire Police attended an area of farmland beside Windsor Drive in Devizes on Friday the 8th of October following the discovery of a body.
A cordon was in place while emergency services attended to the scene, which has since been lifted.
The family of missing Victoria Clements, who has been missing since the 22nd of September, have been informed of the latest development. However, formal identification is yet to take place.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said, "Our thoughts are with the relatives and friends of the deceased person at this difficult time".
