Small Business Expert in Salisbury Tomorrow

Salisbury businesses are invited to meet the National Chair of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) tomorrow lunchtime.

Martin McTague OBE will be at Salisbury Radio's studios at The Old Fire Station on Salt Lane tomorrow (Tuesday 18th June). He wants to learn from locally owned and managed businesses to help guide decision makers.

For almost 50 years, the FSB has helped influence local council decisions and represents businesses to Parliament.

The member oganisation is also responsible National Insurance cuts, increasing small business rates relief and creating funds for businesses after a rates revaluation.

The 'pop in' event at The Old Firestation starts around 1.30pm.

Local FSB manager Chris Austwick says, "We are exclusively for the benefit of small businesess.

"This is a truly unique opportunity for business owners to come and meet the man who has the power to represent you to decision makers, including whomever forms the next Parliament."

Joining the FSB gives business owners access to solicitors, HR and debt recovery advice and assistance as well as discounts for banking, payment terminals and business insurances.
