Salisbury travel to Hayes and Yeading FC this Saturday (20th April) for their penultimate regular league fixture this season.
Brian Dutton's side have already secured a playoff spot after overachieving this season and will look to be ending the season by returning to good form.
On the other hand, Hayes has had a tough season and has been flirting with relegation. However, the side based in West London has won their last two fixtures, including winning 2-1 away at second-placed Gosport Borough last time out.
In the previous game, they beat Basingstoke Town, ending a winless run that had lasted since February. The two consecutive wins have lifted them out of the relegation zone, but they have yet to secure their place in the league for next season.
Salisbury have been in stuttering form, with two wins, two draws, and two losses in their last six matches. Supporters will hope to see a revival as the playoffs loom.
Last time out, Salisbury barely got going against another relegation-threatened team, losing 2-0 at the Ray Mac against Harrow Borough. The game came after only one rest day following their win away at Plymouth Parkway.
League position also dictates who plays where in the extra post-season games.
2nd will play 5th, whilst 3rd will face 4th, with the higher ranked side playing at their ground in the single-legged playoff semi-finals.
In the final, the highest-placed side that won their semi-final will play that game at their ground. Salisbury can still finish second, third, or fourth, depending on their results in their last two games. AFC Totton, currently in fourth, still has three games to play.
Salisbury will play their final regular season game on Saturday, 27th April, when they welcome Hanwell Town to the Ray Mac for a 3 pm Kick-off. Tickets for this game can be bought on the club's website - https://salisburyfc.co.uk/tickets/
