Salisbury to travel to Totton for playoff final

Tickets for Salisbury's playoff final at AFC Totton's Snows stadium have gone on sale, but appear to have sold out.

The hotly anticipated game will kick off at 3 pm on Monday, 6th May, with the winner to be promoted to the National League South, the second tier of non-league football.

Salisbury left it late to squeeze past Gosport Borough in a pulsating encounter at the Ray Mac on Wednesday evening.

AFC Totton required extra time to overcome Bracknell Town, who finished fifth in the table, at the Snows Stadium.

Totton had taken the lead in the second half through Tony Lee, but Bracknell pegged them back right at the death as Gary Abisogun levelled things up.

Ethan Taylor scored the winner for the Stags in Extra time, setting up the final against the Whites.

AFC Totton finished second in the league, two points above Salisbury. Both sides have won one match in the games against each other this season. Salisbury won 2-0 early in the season at the Snows Stadium, and Totton gained revenge with a 1-0 victory at the Ray Mac.

Tickets were on sale on the AFC Totton website, but are showing as sold out - https://afctotton.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/play_off_final_v_salisbury
