Salisbury travel to Sittingbourne in Kent for their fourth round fixture in the Isuzu FA Trophy, with an opposition yet to be beaten at home in the league so far this season.
Sittingbourne, who play in the Isthmian League, South East Division (Step 4), are the lowest-ranked team remaining in the competition, but they have a habit of winning games. They have lost once so far in the league this season, away at Broadbridge Heath last Saturday, and they lost at home in the Emirates FA Cup third qualifying round to Plymouth Parkway.
In the league, they have won 19 of their 23 fixtures so far, only drawing three times and have already scored 71 league goals so far this season, conceding just 16.
The Brickies have five players who have already hit double figures for goals so far this season, with Michell May leading the way with 21 goals to his name so far this season.
In their last game on New Year's Day (Wednesday), they drew one all away at Ashford Town, with Ashford scoring in injury time to deny Sittingbourne all three points after Henry Sinai had given them the lead midway through the first half.
Sittingbourne have won six ties to reach this stage of the competition, beating Winchester City in the second round on penalties before overcoming Vanarama National League South side Enfield Town 4-2 in the last round.
Salisbury come into the game on a three-game unbeaten run over the festive period with a 3-1 win against Welling United and two goalless draws against Eastbourne Borough on Boxing Day and Weymouth on New Year's Day.
This is the first time the club has reached the fourth round of the competition, but they did reach the last 32, before the competition was restructured, five seasons ago, when they were knocked out at this stage.
Progression will see the best-ever run in the FA Trophy that Salisbury FC have ever had since reforming.
