The Salisbury International Pancake Race is back for 2025, are you ready to flip your way to victory?

Once again, Salisbury Foodbank is teaming up with St Thomas’s Church to raise awareness of food insecurity and poverty in local communities.

Held over a 50-meter course on Salisbury's High Street or the Cathedral Cloisters if the weather is bad, the annual event draws a good crowd and a number of participants.

The 2025 edition of the event takes place on Tuesday, 4th March at 11 am, with registration closing at 10:45 am.

The 2024 event was held inside the Cathedral Cloisters due to rain and was won by BFBS presenter Ryan in front of a decent-sized crowd.

Organisers take over a 50-metre stretch of the high street to make way for flipping fantastic runners.  Sprinting to the finish line in heats, some are so fast you’ll miss them if you blink. Others tend to take a more leisurely approach!

The team behind the event are looking for old and new runners to join this year.  For 30-45 minutes of your time, you could walk away the winner of the Golden Frying pan.
