Salisbury look to go unbeaten in their first six league games for the first time since 2020, as they travel to Winchester City in the second game of the Bank Holiday weekend.
After completing a first half comeback against Hungerford Town on Saturday, Salisbury find themselves riding a wave of fine form - finding themselves in fifth place after winning three out of their first five games.
Manager Brian Dutton was assertive in making sure his side did not get ahead of themselves, though, saying in an interview with the club: "It's all about recuperation now and how we recover our muscles because (being unbeaten) counts for nothing if we don't go to Winchester and put a performance on.
"It's about resting, making sure we put the right foods in our body and making sure we're prepared."
Salisbury FC have never lost away to Winchester, winning both times that they have travelled there since the teams first played each other in the Southern League Division One in 2017.
Former Salisbury City midfielder Craig Davis has been manager at Winchester for six years and promoted his club to the Southern League Premier South for the first time ever two seasons ago.
Last campaign, they managed to avoid the drop despite being odds-on favourites to be relegated, but the Citizens have now started in shaky form - winning two and losing two in their first four games.
The home side have had high-scoring affairs so far - conceding ten goals in four and seeing at least four scored in every league game so far.
Alongside manager Davis taking on his old side, it'll also be a reunion of sorts for Winchester's Tommy Wright, who had a loan spell with Salisbury in the 2016/17 season.
