Detectives are investigating an assault in Salisbury which left a man which a broken jaw.
Officers were called to Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury at approximately 8.40pm yesterday (18th July 2022) following a report that a disorder was ongoing.
A man in his 30s sustained a broken jaw and bruising during the incident.
It is believed three people were involved in the assault and they are described as follows:
A white man, overweight, wearing shorts with no top. It is believed he had a tattoo on his right armA white man, of small build, wearing blue shorts and a grey topA white woman, with long dark hair, orange shorts and a purple top, with white writing.We believe a child between the age of nine and 11 was also present.Det Sgt Toni Nugent said, “We understand there may have been a verbal altercation prior to the disorder which led to the victim sustaining a very nasty injury to his jaw. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
“We have cordoned off a small area in Queen Elizabeth Gardens near the footpath from the play park towards Mill Road while we carry out enquiries at the scene.
“We’d like to urgently speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the descriptions given. We would also appeal to anyone who may have footage of the disorder, or CCTV footage from the local area which may have captured the suspects, to please get in touch.”
