A man has been sentenced for three offences following a disorder in Durrington.
On Tuesday, March 25th, officers were called to Primrose Place, Durrington, following reports of a disorder involving two men fighting.
On arrival, one of the men, Lee Warlow, 37, of Elliott Green, Winterbourne Gunner, ran from police while holding a large wooden pole.
Officers gave chase and a few minutes later found Warlow hiding in the garden of a nearby property. Whilst in the garden, Warlow had entered an outbuilding and stolen a coat from within.
Whilst being removed from the garden, Warlow made threats to smash the windows of a neighbouring property.
He was charged, remanded and appeared before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on March 26th, where he pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon, threats to commit criminal damage and non-dwelling burglary.
He was sentenced to a two-year community order, 30 days rehabilitation, and 225 hours of unpaid work.
