Salisbury's biggest independent music event, Live at the Park, is just one week away, and a great weekend of music is in store.
The Immersive Group and Salisbury Live have assembled an amazing lineup of big musical acts that will put on a fantastic show at Victoria Park on Friday, September 6th, and Saturday, September 7th.
There are still tickets available for the event, and can be purchased here - https://www.skiddle.com/festivals/live-at-the-park-2024/
The gates open to the event at 5 pm on Friday, September 6th, with Artful Dodger and Scouting for Girls as the headliners. They will be preceded on stage by Keltz and Blue Collar, with Salisbury Radio's team of presenters welcoming you to the event.
Artful Dodger consists of DJ Dave Low and MC Alistair. They have played gigs all over the world and at festivals around the UK.
Scouting for Girls is a pop rock band with four UK top 10 singles. Their songs are familiar and loved, and I am sure many of us will be singing along at the top of our voices.
On Saturday, September 7th, gates open at 1 pm, with local acts InColour, Tramps and Amps, and The Flotonics supporting Miss America—a Taylor Swift Tribute act, Beatles Dub Club, special guest The Hoosiers, and Symphonic Ibiza.
Beatles Dub Club offer a unique take on classic Beatles tracks with a ska, reggae, and dub take on the songs you know and love.
The Hoosiers have sold over 1 million records and had three top-20 singles in the UK, with Goodbye Mr A and Worried About Ray spending a combined 64 weeks in the charts.
Symphonic Ibiza is the original dance orchestra and DJ act, playing a mix of dance anthems. Andy Joyce, who has DJ'd at Pacha, Amnesia, and many other huge venues in Ibiza, combines with Steve Etherington and his orchestra to bring these tracks to life for the audience.

In addition to the music, there will be entertainment for the children with rides that are free to ticket holders, a range of street food options and drinks will be available as well as a 'Soul Trader' zone made up of local traders offering their products. Those with VIP tickets will be able to relax in the VIP area with their own bar, seating and toilets.
Salisbury Radio will be helping host the stage and have their own area at Victoria Park where they will give away £1000 to one of our six Spin to Win winners - with the final spin of the wheel appearing on the big screen in front of thousands of people on the evening of Friday, 6th September.
We will also be broadcasting live from the event and will bring you the best photographs and videos as things happen.
Currently the long range forecast for the event looks good.
