Mr Marriott, who brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the independent education sector, including a significant decade-long tenure in Salisbury, is set to lead the school into its next chapter.
With a deep understanding of the local educational landscape, Mr. Marriott is committed to upholding and enhancing the school’s longstanding tradition of academic and pastoral excellence. In his new role, he aims to strengthen the school’s wraparound care and extracurricular programs, emphasizing the importance of a well-rounded education that not only focuses on academic achievement but also fosters holistic development.
"As I step into this role, I do so with a deep sense of humility and responsibility," Mr. Marriott stated. "Leehurst Swan has always been a school that values excellence in all areas of education, both in the classroom and beyond. I fully intend to embrace the many strengths that define this school and work strategically to ensure that we continue to offer a first-class education that prepares our students not just for exams, but for life."
Mr Marriott’s leadership approach is centred around placing students at the heart of the school’s narrative. He is dedicated to empowering individual journeys, nurturing potential, and celebrating the unique brilliance of each student.
He also highlighted his commitment to working with Leehurst Swan’s talented and dedicated staff, stating, "Our staff are exceptionally talented and dedicated, and it is a privilege to work alongside such a committed team. I am also passionate about championing our aspirations in sport and the arts, ensuring that every child has the chance to discover and develop their talents."
Under Mr. Marriott’s leadership, Leehurst Swan is poised to continue its tradition of excellence, offering a comprehensive education that equips students with the skills and mindset needed for success both in school and in life.
