The 'Plant Doctor', Roger Hiron' is set to give a talk to Sarum u3a this July about 'Growing to Eat'.
Roger Hirons's interest in plants started at a young age and led to a career in the plant industry after training at Pershore College of Horticulture. He has worked in plant nurseries, run garden centres, and owns his own garden design and landscaping business. Roger shares his enthusiasm for the world of plants with groups all over the south of England.
Roger returns to Sarum u3a to talk about ‘Growing to Eat’. Thinking beyond the obvious fruit and vegetable garden, there are lots of other plants to consider, along with cultural advice to maximise results.
Let the Plant Doctor give you more ideas for your garden.
Members and guests are warmly welcome to attend the meeting, which will start at 10 a.m. with coffee. Guests are invited to join Sarum u3a after two visits.
The talk takes place at St Francis Church, in Salisbury.
