Gosport Borough are the visitors this evening for the FA Cup at The Dell, Laverstock.
Liam McConnell's side, who play in the Wessex League, Premier Division, welcome an unbeaten Gosport Borough side from two leagues higher.
So far this season, Gosport have scored 15 goals in the six league fixtures and come into the game off the back of a 3-0 away win at Sholing.
Gosport enter the competition at this stage, the first qualifying round, whereas Lavvy have already won two games to get to this stage, having beaten both Andover New Street and Blackfield and Langley to progress.
The game was moved to this evening, to remove a clash with Salisbury and their FA Cup game at home to Bridgwater United tomorrow.
McConnell is excited for the challenge the game presents, "We're looking forward to it, the history books tell us it's the biggest game in our 70-year history, so pretty special.
"We're not going to let the occasion get the better of us against a side flying high at the top of the Southern League Premier Division.
"We know that at our best, we can anyone a game at The Dell, and we hope we can do that tonight. With a bit of fortune, a giant-killing is on. Anything less than that, and it's an easy game for Gosport. Hopefully, it will be a great night for the club. "
The game kicks off this evening at 7:45 at The Dell in Laverstock, with a bumper crowd expected.
Ticket prices are £10 for adults, £5 for Concessions and £3 for Under 16’s, (Cash Payment).
