Explore the Wondrous Worlds of Roald Dahl at Longleat this Christmas

Longleat Safari Park has announced the theme for this year's Christmas spectacular with tickets now on sale.

Launching on November 5th and running on selected dates throughout the festive holidays until January 8th, this year’s fantastical festival is said to be the biggest and most ambitious to date with more than 800 individual lanterns, set in over 30 acres of landscaped grounds.

Working in partnership with The Roald Dahl Story Company, a team of designers from Longleat is creating a series of stunning, illuminated scenes bringing magical childhood favourites spectacularly to life.

At The Wordourous World of Roald Dahl, embark on a fantastical journey and meet much-loved characters. Each lantern scene will bring key moments from the iconic books to life, from The BFG and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Matilda, The Twits and Fantastic Mr Fox.

Marvel at the five-metre-tall BFG and walk through Wonka's famous factory gates, just make sure you don't fall into the Chocolate River like Augustus Gloop! Be amazed by James' Giant Peach, find yourself awestruck by George's Marvellous Medicine and be sure not to miss Matilda and Miss Honey.

The festive fun continues with Longleat’s famous 15-metre Enchanted Christmas Tree Show and the much-loved Santa Train.

Tickets include Winter Safari Drive-Through, Festive themed attractions including the Enchanted Christmas Tree Show, on-foot animal attractions including Koala Creek, Jungle Cruise and Family Farmyard, Main Square adventure attractions including Adventure Castle, Rockin’ Rhino, Jungle Cruise and the Hedge Maze.

Adult tickets from £39.95, Child from £29.95, Under Threes free.
