Thousands of people flocked to Durrington Recreation ground this bank holiday weekend for the annual Retro at the Rec and Sunday Funday events organised by Durrington resident DJ Disco Dion and wife Emma.
The crowds were treated to an evening of music and dancing with Dion and DJ Paul Alex on Saturday night and a jam-packed afternoon with fun, games, dancing, performances and races in the arena on Sunday.
In addition to the entertainment, there were plenty of stalls, a car boot sale, inflatables, rides, face painting, and lovely food for everyone to enjoy.

The event was celebrating its 15th Anniversary. Dion and Emma thought it may be the last; however, after seeing how it brings the community together and how much fun it was, they decided to keep going, so watch this space!
Dion and Emma said. "A massive thank you to the Sunday Funday team, all the stallholders, vendors, and especially everyone who came to support!
"The money raised will be donated to local groups and charities."
The team is looking for sponsors for the event so it can keep on growing, and they hope to make next year even bigger and better!
