Some of the biggest names in UK comedy are set to perform at The Chapel this spring.
The stand-up showcase includes the likes of Angelos Epithemiou, Garrett Millerick, Dana Alexander & Paul McCaffrey.
All of the performing cast have impressive TV appearances to their name and have performed at the most prestigious comedy festivals.
The inaugural Chapel Comedy Bonanza begins on Thursday 24th March with an acclaimed stand-up roster of comedians including Garrett Millerick, Dana Alexander, Paul McCaffrey & Angelos Epithemiou.
Epithemiou is best known for appearing in the last three seasons of ‘Shooting Stars’ initially replacing Johnny Vegas as a panellist, before replacing George Dawes (Matt Lucas) as scorekeeper.
In April, the second Chapel Comedy Bonanza will see Andy Parsons, Ian Smith, Louise Young, and Alasdair Beckett King take to the stage.
Andy is a multi-award winning comedian who started his career writing for Weekending and Smith and Jones and went on to become one of the main writers on the groundbreaking Spitting Image satirical puppet show.
As well as being a regular on Mock The Week, Andy has performed on numerous radio and TV shows including Live at the Apollo, QI, Saturday Live, The Stand Up Show, The Comedy Store, The PMQ Show, Scrooby Trevithick, and Parsons and Naylor’s Pull-Out Sections.
Finally, Josh Jones, Tom Ward, Lindsey Santoro, Mark Steel step up to the stage for May's lineup.
In just five years Josh Jones has gone from an open spot to a TV regular, with his breakthrough year coming in 2020 after making his hilarious debut appearance on E4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats and subsequent appearances on ITV’s Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club and Ch5’s Goes Horribly Wrong series.
