Salisbury's Fisherton Mill are getting in the festive spirit and they have lots on offer in the run up to Christmas.
'Woodland Haze' is a magical winter exhibition celebrating the natural world with a multitude of original arts and crafts. 'Woodland Haze' opens in the Main Gallery on Saturday, 9th November and runs throughout the festive season, offering plenty of unique Christmas present ideas in a wonderful 'woodland' setting!
The Mill's Gallery Shop looks bright and beautiful and has lovely festive gifts for all ages and budgets. Look out for extended opening hours during December.
For a spot of relaxed nighttime shopping, Fisherton Mill holds its renowned annual Christmas Shopping Evening on Friday 22nd November from 6 -
8.30 pm with live music, mulled wine and Christmas nibbles to sustain you whilst you find that perfect pressie. There are special offers on the night, and staff are on hand to help you find those unusual, handmade presents not available on the High Street.
In keeping with Salisbury's 'City of Stars' theme, the Mill's giant signature star will be lighting up the courtyard, providing that perfect yuletide photo opportunity.
If you want to try your hand at making your own pressies, sign up for one of Fisherton Mill's many creative Christmas workshops. Learn how to make fused glass decorations, lino-cut greetings cards, Indian block printed table runners, silver jewellery, festive floral wreaths and lots more. Pick your favourite on the Mill's website www.fishertonmill.co.uk/workshops. With lots to choose from, most classes are suitable for beginners.
Fisherton Mill's owner Deborah Fox is looking forward to Christmas at the Mill: "We've gone 'all out' this year, filling the Mill with all things Christmassy to ensure our visitors have the very best time. Our team are ready and waiting to bring the cheer!"
