Longleat is staging an array of autumnal activities to ensure no one will want to hibernate this October half-term!
Running from Saturday, 21st to Sunday, 29th October, The Great British Autumn showcases the best bits of this stunning season.
From pumpkin carving and aerial owl displays to crafts and pottery painting, there’s a fun-packed programme of daily events to enjoy.
Budding young nature detectives can join Professor Sage and Badger as they embark on an exciting adventure. Help them unravel clues, decode secret messages, and unlock the hidden wonders of the great outdoors.
The fun is guaranteed, whatever the weather, as Longleat’s giant indoor Longhouse will be jam-packed with wonderfully whimsical activities that will enchant the young and delight the young at heart.
Have a go at carving your own pumpkin, become a mini-tractor driver and get hands on with autumn-themed sand art. There’s also the magical opportunity to meet a special parliament of owls in their unmissable, daily flying displays.
Feel the breeze as a tawny owl glides overhead, watch the beautiful barn owl and marvel at the impressive African spotted owl.
Younger visitors can also follow the giant pumpkin trail around the park for a sweet treat reward. Some activities, including pumpkin carving, sand art and pottery painting, will incur an additional charge.
